Happy (late) Halloween!

a.k.a. the infamous Basement Cat's favorite day.

So what did you peoples do for Halloween? That's right, this is an interactive post. Did any of you get to wear awesome costumes?
My Halloween didn't involve any costumes but was still fun. At first I thought I would have absolutely nothing to do. I actually spent the majority of the day cleaning. It's a great way to spend a holiday, I absolutely recommend it. o.O Luckily I ended up going to see a movie with several youth group peoples. Twas fun! We saw Surrogates which is a movie involving lots of robots. It was really weird yet strangely interesting.

'm sad. :( I totally messed up the pumpkin I carved today. He was supposed to have these awe-inspiring fangs. Unfortunately, I cut out almost the whole mouth before remembering to leave the teeth. *fail* It still has fangs but I had to put them really close together.

I named him Carcus. In a moment of lameness I decided I wanted to give him a Twilight name, since I just finished reading New Moon. At first I was going to name him Carlyle. That didn't stick. Then I thought maybe Marcus, but I don't like that so much. Finally I decided to combine the two to get Carcus. You can even call him Count Carcus if you like.
Carcus is on the right and Jerry, Bob's pumpkin, is on the left.
Jerry looks like a hillbilly. *snicker*
Lookit poor Carcus' teeth. :( They were supposed to be on the far sides of his mouth but it didn't work that way.

Now the work of professionals. If there is such a thing as professional pumpkin carvers.

I have really cool grandparents.

Perhaps you know that last summer my dearest family (hehe) and I painted my grandma and grandpa's house. I got some moneys for my Fusion trip which made me really happy. :D
The end... right?
A few days ago I was doing school when I heard the dog barking. Being the bum and dog disliker (see, I didn't say hater! I'm so politically correct) I let my bro take care of it. Then I hear people talking. I sigh and remove myself from my deep thoughts. I enter the living room and BAM! Mocha and Casey were having a conversation about The Lion King! Ok, not really. But it was almost just as shocking. My grandma and grandpa were hauling this giant thing. A new flat screen TV to be precise. :O It's sooo svelte. I named it Marvin.
They say it's for helping paint. Even so, such kindness! 'm happy. :)

Here's a terrible picture of it. I don't feel like transfering pictures from my camera so I used photo booth. The photographer in me twitches in horror everytime I look at it.
